Outreach & Support Services

PBS Services is the positive behaviour support service provided by the Wooden Hill Federation and is available for schools across Central Bedfordshire.
Positive behaviour support takes a child-centred approach to helping pupils with behaviours of concern. It focuses on understanding the causes of these behaviours and involves working alongside families, schools and other professionals to address their root causes.

We provide support for pupils with challenges in cognition, learning, and autism, including those without a formal diagnosis at the time of referral. We accept referrals for pupils who are year 1 through to those in year 11, we also accept referrals for Reception pupils who have an EHCP. Our support includes observations, direct engagement with students, consultations with staff and families, and providing written recommendations.
